Incorporated in 1911, the City of Eagle Point operates under a Council-Administrator form of government. The city is organized into three operating departments: Administration, Police, and Public Works. The Public Works Department includes Engineering, Parks & Facilities, Stormwater, Streets, and Water Distribution.
Working under the general direction of the Public Works Director, the Public Works Supervisor plans, develops, manages, directs, and implements the yearly maintenance and operations of the city’s water system, parks, streets, stormwater, vehicle/equipment maintenance, and city facilities. The Supervisor directs and supervises all of the Public Works staff, including the Lead Worker, Specialists, Technicians, Laborers, temporary staff, and at times contractors.
Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 5 years of general construction/municipal experience with at least 3 years of lead/supervisory experience. Possession or the ability to obtain a valid Oregon Level II Water Distribution Operator Certificate, a valid Oregon Cross Connection Specialist Certificate, and a valid Oregon Commercial Driver License.

CENTRAL NEVADA REGIONAL WATER AUTHORITY
The Central Nevada Regional Water Authority, an eight county unit of local government, is seeking a part-time Executive Director. Interviews will begin in late June 2017, and the job will be filled as quickly as an appropriate candidate can be found and is available.
The Central Nevada Regional Water Authority’s functions include the following: 1) formulate and present united positions to the Nevada Legislature, agencies of the State of Nevada, U.S. Congress, federal agencies and other government entities on water issues pertaining to Nevada, and in particular to Authority member counties; 2) be a place where governments (federal, state and local), the environmental community, the business community and the public can discuss water issues; 3) assess proposals to export water from member counties, 4) develop and maintain a water resource data base to better understand groundwater resources in member counties; and 5) encourage citizen participation in water issues that are of concern to member counties.
The Authority’s mission is to collaboratively assist member counties in addressing water resource issues so these counties will not only have an economic future, but also their valued quality of life and natural environment will be maintained.
This is a part-time position. The Authority’s board shall contract with the Executive Director who will serve at the pleasure of the board as the chief administrative officer of the Authority. The Executive Director will implement the Authority’s functions. We are looking for an Executive Director with a passion for the Authority’s mission. The Executive Director must have good communication skills, and a working knowledge of Nevada water issues.
Ideally the successful candidate will have a college degree with a minimum of five years of experience with natural resource issues, particularly Nevada water resource issues. The successful candidate should have strong written and verbal communication skills, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be knowledgeable of Nevada’s legislative process. The successful candidate should be able to plan and execute the Authority’s quarterly meetings. The successful candidate should be action-oriented and have the ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups and people. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed.
The Authority’s FY18 budget has $40,000, plus travel expenses, for the position.

Round Hill General Improvement District
Operator I or an Operator II, depending on qualifications
This is a multi-disciplinary, full time position. An on-call rotation is required with this position.
The selected candidate will be required to work at the District’s direct filtration water treatment facility, maintain District roadways and drainage systems, work with the wastewater collection system and plow and sand District roads as needed.
