District Manager (Manager)

The Round Hill General Improvement District (District), located in Zephyr Cove, NV with approximately 480 customer connections is accepting applications for the position of District Manager (Manager).  The District operates a public water utility, sewer collection system, road infrastructure, storm drains and erosion control systems.

The Manager is responsible for:  managing a staff of 4, implementing policy and managing and directing all affairs of the District under the direction of a 5 member elected Board of Trustees.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Public Administration, Business Management; 5 years’ experience in a management position at a water utility, or equivalent education and experience.  Nevada Water Distribution Operator Certification D-2 required.  Nevada Water Treatment Operator Certification T-3 required.

The District offers a comprehensive benefit package that includes health, dental, vision and life insurance and participation in the Nevada Public Employees Retirement System.  This is an exempt position and the starting salary for the Manager is $90,000 per year.
