The Canyon General Improvement District

                         Pyramid Lake Fisheries (PLF) Program. Coordinates the overall

                         inter-departmental programs.

StaCon Regional Outside Sales/Service Job Description

 

Job Duties: 

Call on all customers a minimum of twice per year, more often as required based on the sales generated by the customer and the customers individual needs; and establish good working relationships with all customers in the territory.  Establishing new customers and new opportunities is also a priority.

 

Complete all quotes required for the territory, store the quotes and manage the database for the territory electronically and on paper, and continually update the database as required.  This information must also be copied to the home office. 

 

Quote and complete all paid service calls in the territory, and assist all territorial customers with service via the telephone as required.  The salesman must also assist the home office regarding the invoicing of any service call.

 

The salesman must stay up to date on industry trends and new technology and be prepared to relay this information to customers and engineers.  The salesman must also be willing and able to present technical data via slide presentations as the customers require.

 

Travel reports, expense reports, and itinerary plans must be completed quarterly at minimum. 

 

Be willing and able to travel to other territories for sales, service, or training as required by StaCon.

 

A good command of English grammar and excellent communicative skills as well as basic computer literacy is required.

 

In general, be upbeat and eager to work with the customers to fulfill all of their control requirements.
