Circuit Riders
The Circuit Riders provide hands-on assistance in all areas of
water system operations: wells, treatment, pumps, motors,
control valves, leak detection, record keeping, bookkeeping,
regulatory compliance and management. Assistance often
includes one-on-one and informal training for system employees.

Wastewater Technician
The Wastewater Technician provides practical assistance in all
areas of wastewater system operations, including rate structure
analysis, comprehensive system evaluation, financial overviews,
classroom, and one-on-one informal training for system
employees. |

Training and Technical Assistance
The Technical Assistance Specialist conducts informal and formal
training and workshops, provides training guides, and is an
additional on-site assistant for technical, managerial and
financial issues. |

Groundwater Technician
The Groundwater Technician provides on-site assistance in
designing and implementing local well head protection programs.
The Technician guides community-based teams through the plan
development and implementation process and provides follow-up
assistance to maintain existing programs. |

Source Water Protection
Nevada Rural Water Association is responsible for the Source
Water Protection Planning program in Nevada. A Source
Water Specialist works with communities to develop local
programs to protect drinking water sources. Technical and
planning assistance, education, outreach, and assistance with
plan implementations provided. The only way to ensure a
safe and high quality water supply now and for the future is to
protect the source. |
