Rural Water Association’s 22nd Annual Conference is
scheduled for March 20-22, 2012 at the Grand Sierra Resort. We are
in the process of planning an exciting and educational event and we
hope that you will join us.

Registration
All
conference participants must register. A full registration includes
all training sessions, admission to the Exhibit Hall, Tuesday Vendor
Reception, Wednesday Vendor Luncheon, and Thursday Awards Luncheon.

Rooms
have been reserved at the Grand Sierra Resort. Your reservations
can be made by calling (775) 789-2000 or online at
www.gsr.com.
Simply mention that you are with the NvRWA Annual Conference to
receive the special conference rate of $79 per night for the GSR
rooms and $100 per night for the Summit rooms. Deadline for
reservations is Saturday, February 18, 2012. Complimentary
self-parking is provided for overnight guests of the hotel.
Vendor Reception
Be sure
to join us for the Tuesday Night Vendor Reception from 5:00 pm to
7:00 pm in the Exhibit Hall at the Grand Sierra Resort. Don’t miss
the chance to visit with our vendors while enjoying hors d’oeuvres
and refreshments. In addition, the 5th Annual Cribbage
Tournament will be held.
Best Tasting Water Contest
This is always such an exciting event to see who gets to claim
the Best Tasting Water for the upcoming year. The winner of the Best
Tasting Water will have bragging rights for all of 2012, a press
release will be sent to the local newspaper to help with your PR
efforts.
Don’t count yourself out! Bring your water to compete. A panel of
judges compare Taste, Smell, and Clarity to determine the winner.
Please bring your entry to the registration desk on the morning of
Tuesday, March 20th. It is preferable that you submit your entry in
a one-gallon glass container labeled with your system name on the
bottom.
2012 Rural Water Awards
Each year at our Annual
Training and Technical Conference, NvRWA presents awards to
employees of member systems who have done an outstanding job in the
water and wastewater fields.
If you would like to make a nomination, please fill out the
nomination form and return to the NvRWA office by
February 24,
2012.
2012 Awards Luncheon
The Annual Awards Luncheon will be held on Thursday afternoon at
11:40 am. and is included with your registration. The banquet
meal will be a plated meal you can enjoy with your colleagues.
We will announce the winner of the Best Tasting Water Contest, as
well as the winners of the 2012 Rural Water Awards.
